BICHECTOMY

 

The Bichectomy is a surgical procedure in which the removal of the fat pads located on the bottom edge of the cheeks is carried out. These fats bags make cheeks look more prominent.

- Beware of exposure to sun and external agents that can damage the process.

 

-Eating properly so that no infection occurs at points of scar and consult your doctor if severe swelling in the facial area.

 

WHAT IS NORMAL

 

You may be temporary decreased sensation in the skin of the treated area. However, gradually recovered in the first days or weeks.

 

There may be a slight swelling in the area and minimal pain when chewing, so we recommend a soft diet the first days.

Some bruising at the bottom of the cheeks may appear, which improve with cold compresses and a little ice on the affected area.
